Our Mission is to raise awareness and money to help fight pediatric cancer.
For 2008 our primary event will be using Race Across America (RAAM)
as a catalyst to raising money for our fight.
Neuroblastoma is a common and often difficult to treat cancer, the most common cancer in infancy. (UCSF)
Childhood cancer is the number one disease killer in children.
Every 16 hours a child with neuroblastoma dies.
Childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in the US and it kills more children per year than cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, asthma and AIDS combined.
There is no known cure for relapsed neuroblastoma. (This is where we come in)
For 2008 and the difficulties I have had raising money for our local charity, I am now racing with Team Inspiration
and helping them with thier charitable efforts. All money donated through this site will still go to our local chairty, the Magic Water Project, and the funds raised through our 24hr event will likewise be
used for our local charity. More on this coming soon.
